Ingredients
- 200 g streaky bacon, chopped
- 600 g Brussels sprouts, halved
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 40 g toasted pecans
- Salt and pepper
Method
- Cook bacon in an ovenproof pan until crisp; remove with a slotted spoon.
- Sear sprouts cut-side down in the bacon fat and olive oil.
- Roast at 210ยฐC until tender and browned.
- Whisk maple syrup, mustard and vinegar, then toss through the hot sprouts.
- Return bacon, add pecans and season before serving.
Storage guidance
- Keep frozen at or below -18ยฐC.
- Once thawed, keep refrigerated and consume promptly.
- Do not refreeze after complete thawing.
- Cook thoroughly before serving where applicable.
